My roommate got really drunk last week and lost the keys to his car. Any normal person would solve this problem. All he has to do is get the spare keys that are at his parent's place.
Nope, he's been bumming rides off me and his girlfriend s . Meanwhile there's a perfectly running insured car sitting outside my place right now, full tank of gas as well. This is pretty similar to the 3 months he went without a phone because he was too lazy to activate the old phone I gave him.

He needs to be cut off.

Moral of the story: don't have a roommate that you refer to as your roommate. Friend, girlfriend, both fine. But you never want to live with somebody who is just a roommate, or even worse, a wife.

When my roommate lost the keys to our room, instead of just getting replacement keys, he waited 3 solid months before doing anything about it.
"No, I'm not leaving my door unlocked for 8 hours all day. I keep my stuff here."

I like him. He just has a strange unrealistic way of thinking.

Yes, from all of his body parts. With this.

Haha, I guess I should mention he is my friend. He's just really lazy, and naturally lucky. He's a fun person to live with and I guess more fun to observe the situations he gets himself in.

Haha yeah, I've had a similar situation. I'll just say it ended with a call from security about a guy trying to break in.

Does he own a pre-1995 Ford?

As long as he doesn't become a wife, you're probably okay.

Next time he asks for a ride, drive him straight to his parents
